- I'm not going to comment on the rest of your drivel, but being a video guy I
- must point out that PAL is not technologically superior to NTSC, it uses the
- same bandwidth, all it does is trade frame resolution for frame rate. Instead
- of the /superior/ 30 fps (60 fields), it uses 25 fps (50 fields), thus
- resulting in a noticable flicker in PAL monitors. This tradeoff allows a
- higher resolution on individual frames...
